Confidence is scientifically explained as when an individual is in a state of being certain either that a hypothesis or prediction is correct. It can also explain a situation when a chosen course of action is deemed by the individual as being the best or most effective.
Self-confidence in the workplace is as critical as almost any character train or skill set, especially during interviews or important face to face meetings. On the contraty, arrogance is having unmerited self-confidence such as believing in something or in someone such as being capable or correct when they are not. In the modern day employers look for measured self confidence when interviewing potential candidates for a job. Individuals can increase their own levels of self-confidence using a range of building tools such as successful game play where targets are met and rewards won.
MIND360 has used this ethos in the development of all it's online brain training games. From the initial mental assessment program where individuals gain a base measure, through to the reward of increased cognitive scores and winning challenges set by the system or friends in the community.
