Orienting Attention


Also called Focused Attention, Orienting Attention refers to our ability to respond to a single visual or audio stimulus when presented with two or more stimuli at the same time. Orienting Attention differs from Divided Attention, which is called upon when we are presented with two or more stimuli and required to pay attention and respond to them all simultaneously.
