Better Memory Better Exam Results

It's been scientifically proven by almos every research project in recent times (as well as through simple social common sense) that the better your memory, the better chance you have at achieving better exam scores. The challenge for many however is to first understand and appreciate that your memory can actually be improved through a program of training and work.

A UCLA research study published in the June 2006 issue of the American Journal of Geriatric Psychiatry found that people can improve cognitive function and brain efficiency through simple lifestyle changes such as incorporating memory exercises, healthy eating, physical fitness and stress reduction into their daily lives. The International Longevity Center released in 2001 a report which includes a number of recommendations for keeping the mind in good shape until well into maturity through active memory training programs. Specifically, some of the recommendations are to stay intellectually active through learning, training or reading, to keep physically active so to promote blood circulation to the brain, to socialize, to reduce stress, to keep sleep time regular, to avoid depression or emotional instability and to observe good nutrition.

MIND360 has collaborated with a number of leading psychologists and psychiatrists to develop a range of scientifically proven brain games that with regular use can improve memory and increase concentration allowing people to remember more and recall faster. Just the ticket for students approaching exam time.
